Roster can contain a maximum of 8 people. Teams must have at least four members to play – no more than 8 players on the court at one time. Teams must have two females on the court at all times. All team members must sign a liability waiver before play begins. Anyone age l6 or younger must have parent or legal guardian sign waiver form. All participants are entering the tournament at their own risk. Senior division participants can also participate in the adult division. Visit www.fayettecofair.com for all the latest information. Registration Requires: • A team name along with names of all team members, phone numbers and addresses listed with the team captain designated. • $30 entry fee (Thursday and Friday teams pay 4-H Council day of tournament) (Saturday participants pay Fayette County Fair) • Liability and permission forms completed and turned in at registration Event will be held rain or shine. In case of lightning, the team captain will be notified and the event cancelled. Should the event be cancelled, entry fee will be refunded otherwise the entry is non-refundable. Personnel in charge of this event retain the right to interpret and modify these rules in the best interest of the event. A non-cash prize will be awarded to the top Junior and Senior teams by the Fayette County 4-H Council. RULES • All players must wear shoes – remove at your own risk • Volley for serve • No overhand hitting on return of serve • Do not play Net Serves • Junior & Senior teams can only score if they are serving • Junior & Senior Division games will be 15 points – must win by 2 points • Adult Division – Games will be rally scoring to 25 points - must win by 2 points • Female must hit ball if not returned on first hit • Each team must check in 15 minutes before scheduled start time • Each team will be responsible to referee own games • Each team must report scores after each game to officials table • All players will observe positive sportsmanship. Any player not exhibiting good sportsmanship will be asked to leave the area immediately and not allowed to return. • No coolers will be allowed.
