2008 Fayette County Fair Road Race When: 8:30 AM on Saturday, July 26, 2008 Where: Vine Street Gate of Fayette County Fairgrounds, West Union, Iowa Registration Deadline: 12:00 Noon on July 19 - Late entries accepted to 8:00 AM day of race. Entry Fee: $12.00 - Late registrations are $15.00 – Kids 12 & under run FREE All entry fees are non-refundable. Entry fees payable to Fayette County Fair Road Race. Awards: Trophies to overall men’s and women’s champions, medals for 2nd and 3rd in each division. All paid runners and walkers will receive a t-shirt. Pick up packets by 8:15 morning of race. Prizes: Following the awards presentations, all participants will be eligible for a drawing of gift certificates provided by this year’s sponsors. Course: Paved roads within the City of West Union Facilities: Water and restrooms on the fairgrounds, water station mid-race.
